At MaryRuth Organics Shop, we stand behind the quality and integrity of our products and want you to feel confident in every purchase. If you are not fully satisfied, we are here to help.

1. Eligibility for Refunds
We accept refund requests for products that meet the following conditions:

  • The item is in its original, unopened, and unused condition.

  • The request is made within 30 days of the original purchase date.

  • The product was purchased directly from maryruthorganicsshop.com.

2. Non-Refundable Items
For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for:

  • Opened or partially used products (unless defective or damaged upon arrival)

  • Products that have been tampered with or are not in resalable condition

  • Shipping charges (unless the return is due to our error)

3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is:

  • Damaged during shipping

  • Defective or not as described

  • Different from what you ordered

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at [email protected]. We will arrange a replacement or full refund, including any return shipping costs, at our discretion. Photos of the damaged or incorrect item may be requested for verification.

4. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return:

  1. Email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return.

  2. We will review your request and, if approved, provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.

  3. Ship the item(s) back to us in their original packaging, including the RMA number clearly marked on the package.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for items lost in transit.

5. Refund Processing
Once we receive and inspect your returned item:

  • We will notify you of the status of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

  • Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

  • Sale items are eligible for a refund to the original payment method.

6. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original product for a refund and place a new order for the desired item.

7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received your refund within the expected timeframe:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company or payment processor, as it may take time to post.

8. Shipping Costs for Returns

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong or defective item).

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

9. International Returns
Customers outside the United States are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or return shipping costs. Refunds will be issued for the product cost only, excluding original and return shipping fees.
